Well, Saturday arrived with a big box (a very HEAVY box), treated the Fedex driver to some snacks for his effort. The box was slightly scrunched at one end – not surprising considered all the handling it went through to get here. However, everything inside was undamaged with all the packaging that was supplied (LOTS of packaging!)
After unpacking, I managed to get her into a rolling chair to ease her around the house. She is heavy, something that I didnt take into real consideration when I ordered her – luckily I live in a single story house, so there are no stairs to contend with. Cleaning may be an issue…
Detail is beautiful, and the articulated fingers are a real winner – much better than wired fingers. The facial details as fine, tho I think I am more a fan of the softer TPE heads than the hard silicone heads. Skeleton articulation is excellent, a bit stiff, but that is to be expected. Softness of the body is quite nice.
Only real issue I can see is the hair. No matter if its a wig or implanted, the doll will gradually lose strands of hair with just normal handling and brushing. However, I see no way to improve on this, and at least one can replace the wig as necessary!
One outstanding feature was the customer support I received. Summer in customer support was outstanding in helping me through the post order procedure, helping with the extra details and ensuring that the doll was detailed as I wanted it.
